School Garden Grants

School garden grants. Garden grants for schools communities and non profit organizations 2020. To be eligible for this grant schools must be located in california or arizona and satisfy one of the following. This grant will provide up to 2000 in year 1 and up to 1000 in year 2 in support of a new start up school garden to enhance the stem curriculum. The youth garden grant is open to any nonprofit organization public or private school or youth program in the united states or us territories planning a new garden program or expanding an established one.

The grant period consists of two 1 year cycles. School garden grants make all the difference in the start up maintenance and enjoyment of a school garden. We are supporting schools in the london boroughs of tower hamlets brent enfield islington camden and greenwich. Grants and funds from sponsors are often necessary to run outdoor classroom and garden programs.

Winners will be announced january 31 2020. Grant opportunities for school and youth garden programs we know finding the financial resources to plant and maintain a youth garden is one of the biggest obstacles educators and volunteers face so in addition to providing our own grant programs here is a list of some additional grant opportunities that support youth garden programs. Applications are now closed. And with school budgets so tight it is all but impossible to get extra money for the supplies needed to run an effective school garden program.

School garden grants in 2020 we have a grant fund of 55000 and schools can apply for a grant up to 2000. Through our garden grant program schools and non profit organizations turn outdoor spaces into powerful hands on learning gardens that connect kids with food spark their curiosity and support classroom curriculum.
